In Silk Road, players embark on a journey from the Imperial city of Nanking to the great city of Constantinople. Accompanied by a party of three, it is up to the player to choose the best route forward in order to make the most profit and have the best journey possible. The player will encounter various branching pathways and will have to make decisions based on what information the party gives them. These decisions will influence both the overall profitability of the voyage but will also impact the relationship between the characters and the group dynamic as a whole.
